30 things: day 9

Day 9 - Something you're proud of in the last few days.

I've been avoiding this topic of a few days because I can't think of anything that I'm really proud of lately. I want to say I'm proud of a few people and a few things, but I don't know if I really am. There's too much static interference in the background of life right now.

I wish I had something better to post, but I don't. Maybe I will next week...

  1. you should be proud that despite what goes on in life, you're a good sister/daughter/niece who is always there for people in her life

    30 things: day 9

Day 9 - Something you're proud of in the last few days.

There are entirely too many things I'm proud of in the last few days. Too many to even summarize in one post.

I am proud of my last blog post entitled "You have got to be kidding me." Not only is it hilarious, it shows that I am not some ditsy girl who runs around with her panties covering her eyes and settles for scumbags. I am proud that I have standards and don't pretend to be something I am not.

I am also proud of doing the Lord's work. In mysterious ways. I have saved people and not even known it. I am proud that I don't have to try or know that I am doing it. I don't even have to tell you what Lord I am working for.

I am proud of getting up everyday and working in a job that is physically and emotionally exhausting on the chance that my efficiency will save someone's life. Or comfort someone. Or help someone.

I am proud of the way I capture feelings with my camera and the way I create images with my words.

I am proud of surviving the month of February.

I am proud of where I've been and where I am and that I owe it all to myself. I have accomplished alot and never been a victim or entitled asshole about it.

I am proud that I will be 30 this year.

And I am proud that I never stop searching. I am searching for happiness, love, the next big thing, the perfect cocktail, and maybe even some of that good midget karma I have coming.
